ALTAR SERVERS

Children who have received the sacrament of First Holy Communion are encouraged to share in the ministry of Altar Serving.  Full training is provided for children in the Church on days and at times set out by the Parish and Altar Servers are then rostered at their preferred Mass times. MUSIC MINISTRY

St Agatha’s boasts a vibrant and enthusiastic music ministry, with music at weekend Masses and special days throughout the year. Choir members sing at the 8.00am Sunday Mass. Choir practice is conducted in the weeks leading up to Easter and Christmas celebrations.

We warmly welcome new musicians and singers to be a part of the St Agatha’s Music Ministry, speak to any of the choir, musicians, Fr Michael, or contact the parish office for details.


Mother of Mercy has recently farewelled her beloved organist, and is eagerly anticipating a skilled musician to lead music ministry. If you would like to serve as a musician at Mass, please speak to Fr Michael or contact the parish office.


READERS’ MINISTRY

Participating in the Readers’ ministry is a practical way for the laity of the Parish to actively engage in the Mass. Those who can speak well in public and would like to proclaim the Scriptures at Mass are encouraged to join this ministry. Training is provided for those seeking to participate in this important ministry. Readers are rostered at their preferred Mass approximately once per month. If you are interested, please speak to Fr Michael after mass or contact the parish office.
