They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.

I’m New
From the parishes of Mother of Mercy and St Agatha’s, welcome! Whether you are an old friend returning or completely new, please come along to Sunday Mass at one of our churches and introduce yourself to Fr Michael. You are also welcome to contact the parish office for a private chat on (07) 3268 3040.
If you are a visitor to the parish, you are very welcome to come forward to receive a blessing. If you have returned to the Catholic Church after an absence, you are also invited to make a sacramental confession with Fr Michael before receiving communion. In the meantime, you are also welcome to come up at communion time to receive a blessing.Â

Alongside Mass on Wednesday – Sunday, there are also several ministries running during the week for children and families, youth and young adults, adult formation, as well as several volunteering groups connected to the parish. On top of this, there are plenty of events and opportunities to connect to the wider Brisbane faith community listed under the ‘Parish Life’ drop-down menu.
Volunteering can also be a fulfilling way to serve the parish communities. If you are interested in volunteering, please click here.

Continuing Your Journey
All are welcome and encouraged to join the Catholic Church. This is a formal process known as RCIA, or OCIA in other countries. Through this, you will receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist, and enter into full communion with the Body of Christ.
This journey will be undertaken with the support and guidance of your priest and parish community. If you are interested in becoming Catholic, please click here.
