St Agatha’s Parish

National trust conservation appeal

“St Agatha’s parish was established in 1918. The Presbytery and Church were built in 1925 and we just last year
celebrated our centenary. Both the Church and Presbytery are beautiful buildings and heritage listed. The Church
building and grounds require ongoing maintenance and investment to both conserve their unique heritage and
ensure they meet modern day safety standards. The parish therefore has a number of important bodies of work
planned for the church and its grounds for 2026 and early 2027.

The parish and wider community have responded very generously to past appeals for funding and I am confident of
a similar response in 2026. I appreciate that appeals during challenging economic times are an ‘ask’ on everyone
but I am confident that together we can raise the requisite funds and get the job done to ensure St Agatha’s Church
and the parish is well positioned for the future.

I commend the appeal to you and look forward to your whole-hearted and generous support.”
